I heard about Alert Pay, but I haven never used it so far. My only "concern", is as to how Alert Pay deals with issues with transactions. (  I have used PayPal long enough to know that they have been quite helpful in resolving my issues when needed ( Other people may have other experiences.. I am just talking out of my own personal experience here) .

Thanks for that I am going to have a dig about and see what comes about from using it.

My problem with Paypal is they seem to be a law to themselves I know someone that had transactions held for 6 months.

I heard of similar cases ( although very rare) .

In any case... I would recommend you request Alert Pay to explain their policies regarding such topics. I would think that any similar service will have the right to withhold transactions if they suspect something fishy is going on ( even if that's not the case )

The only experience I have had with Alert Pay was not a happy one.  I bought my son a solar toy car kit for his birthday from an on line retailer.   To pay for it I had to sign up with Alert Pay (same sort of thing as Paypal I thought)  I paid with my credit card.  When I got my credit card bill Alert Pay had taken the payment as cash from my card so I had a bill for interest on the money!!  Added to that the retailer did not have one of the items and refunded £19 through Alert Pay which is stuck there until I can find a way of getting it back that will not cost me more money!
